Donald Trump is pressuring Gustavo Petro to allow direct USA military involvement in anti-drug operations under the threat of unilateral action.Rebel groups including the ELN are forming a unified resistance front following an appeal from insurgent leader Nestor Gregorio Vera to oppose foreign intervention.Both leaders are scheduled to meet in early February to negotiate a new bilateral strategy against drug trafficking after the arrest of Nicolas Maduro.
