The Swedish Air Force will conduct a Christmas tree formation flight with JAS 39 Gripen E fighter jets in December 2025, a tradition featuring the new aircraft.The Skaraborg Air Wing's flight, originally planned for December 9th, was postponed to December 10th due to adverse weather, with jets departing from Såtenäs and flying over several cities before reaching Gothenburg.A Hercules transport plane will join fly-bys over Värmland, the Mälardalen area, and Stockholm on December 15th and 17th, while the Norrbotten Air Wing's planned formation with the Finnish Air Force and the Blekinge Air Force Wing's flyovers with Danish jets have also been rescheduled due to weather.
