A United Nations Children's Fund study found that 1.2 million children in eleven countries have had their likenesses manipulated by artificial intelligence over the last year.Daniel Kardefelt Winther warned these realistic images cause severe trauma and are used for blackmail and bullying by both adults and peers.The organization is calling for stricter legislation and industry accountability to protect children from this escalating form of digital abuse.
