Newly released dashcam footage shows a Jewish couple in their 60s trying to stop a terror attack at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach after attackers earlier killed at least 15 people and wounded many.The footage shows 69-year-old Boris Gurman grabbing a rifle from one of two gunmen and being fatally shot, and seconds later his 61-year-old wife Sofia Gurman was also shot; their family said they were proud of the couple’s bravery.Authorities identified suspects as father and son Sajid Akram and Naveed Akram, recovered firearms, explosives and an Islamic State flag from the attackers’ vehicle, fatally shot Sajid at the scene, have Naveed hospitalized in custody, and are probing motive, overseas travel and possible training with help from international partners while Prime Minister Anthony Albanese praised interveners including Ahmed al Ahmed.
