Delcy Rodríguez Approves Amnesty Law for National Reconciliation

Delcy Rodríguez promoted an amnesty law approved by the National Assembly following a military incursion by the USA that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro.The legislation addresses political detentions since 1999 but excludes individuals convicted of grave human rights violations, crimes against humanity, or drug trafficking.This proposal seeks to lift political bans on leaders like María Corina Machado and has already facilitated the release of approximately 600 prisoners.
