LG will debut the
Micro RGB evo at
CES 2026, a set that replaces white LED backlights with individually controlled red, green and blue micro-LED clusters to deliver a wider color gamut and finer dimming control while positioning the technology between
OLED and
mini-LED.
Intertek has certified 100 percent coverage of
BT.2020,
DCI-P3 and
Adobe RGB, the sets will be offered in 100-, 86- and 75-inch sizes, and although
LG has not revealed US pricing or peak brightness figures, reviewers expect highlight brightness could exceed 5,000 nits and note that early Micro RGB models have been very large and costly, including a
Samsung 115-inch model that sold for $29,999.
