DNB customers who leased new cars from 2020 to February 2023 were found to have overpaid due to an invalid price adjustment clause in their agreements.The Consumer Ombudsman in Sweden and the Norwegian Consumer Authority are jointly seeking collective refunds through a lawsuit, with support from the National Board for Consumer Complaints and the National Board for Consumer Disputes.Kristofer Johanneson stated that affected consumers may receive substantial reimbursements, as the clause was deemed unreasonable and hidden from consumers by authorities citing EU precedents.
