Naveed Akram Faces 59 Charges Following Deadly Bondi Beach Hanukkah Terrorist Attack

Naveed Akram appeared in a Sydney court via video link on Monday to face 59 charges related to the December massacre at Bondi Beach.The 24-year-old is accused of 15 counts of murder and 40 counts of attempted murder following an attack on a Hanukkah celebration.Police allege that Naveed Akram and his father, Sajid Akram, used firearms and pipe bombs to target the gathering after months of planning.While Sajid Akram was killed during the initial shootout, his son was apprehended and is now being held at a high-security prison until April.
