Fake Admiral Fined After Impersonating Officer for 14 Years

Jonathan Carley was fined £500 after pleading guilty to wearing a military uniform without permission at a Remembrance Sunday event in north Wales.Carley, a former history teacher, spent over a decade posing as a decorated rear admiral and was caught wearing 12 fake medals during a service in Llandudno.The 65-year-old admitted the charges at Caernarfon magistrates’ court after his actions provoked outrage among veterans and the local community.
