Sarah Hendricks of UN Women and Belén Sanz both stressed the growing threat of digital violence, including deepfake pornography, and called for regulation and urgent action to address violence against women online and offline. The UN will launch its "16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence" campaign worldwide, focusing on ending digital violence and advocating for stronger protection of women in public life.
