Robert Dorgan Kills Two Family Members at Rhode Island Hockey Game

Robert Dorgan killed Rhonda Dorgan and Aidan Dorgan before taking his own life during a hockey tournament in Rhode Island on February 16, 2026.The suspect opened fire from behind a bench at the Lynch Arena while his younger son Colin Dorgan was competing on the ice.The FBI is currently investigating the incident as a targeted domestic dispute after three additional family members were left in critical condition.Governor Dan McKee and the New England Patriots offered condolences following the 41st mass shooting to occur in the USA this year.
