Jury Selection Begins Following Uvalde School Shooting

Jury selection has begun for the criminal trial of Adrian Gonzales after the former school officer was charged with failing to protect children during the 2022 Robb Elementary massacre.Gonzales faces 29 counts of child abandonment and endangerment following a law enforcement response where authorities waited over an hour to confront the shooter.While defense attorneys claim the officer attempted to save lives, Gonzales and Pete Arredondo are the only responders out of nearly 400 officers to face criminal charges.
