Families of two Trinidadian men filed a wrongful death lawsuit in a Boston federal court following a USA military airstrike that killed their relatives in the Caribbean Sea.Chad Joseph and Rishi Samaroo died during Operation Southern Spear on October 14, 2025, when a missile destroyed their vessel as they returned from work in Venezuela.The legal challenge, which marks the first judicial contest to the maritime bombing campaign authorized by Trump, alleges the USA government conducted extrajudicial killings.
