Iran confirmed its Revolutionary Guards seized the tanker Talara, which was transporting high-sulfur gas oil from Sharjah to Singapore.The incident followed reports of the vessel being intercepted off the coast of the UAE as it diverted into Iranian waters.Iranian state media stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed the Talara violated regulations by carrying unauthorized petrochemical cargo, while its management company reported losing contact with the vessel.
