Man Faces Trial After Setting Egon Malmgren's Hair on Fire

Prosecutors have charged a man for setting fire to the hair of Egon Malmgren on a Stockholm bus in 2020 after the investigation was initially closed.Anna Telg decided to pursue the case following a request for review from Egon Malmgren, who is a 73-year-old former news presenter.The suspect is currently serving a 12-year sentence for a 2024 bombing in Hässelby, which was previously used as a reason to not prosecute the assault.
