Lindsey Vonn Returns to USA After 2026 Olympic Injury and Four Surgeries

Lindsey Vonn has returned to the USA following four surgeries in Italy for a complex tibia fracture sustained during the 2026 Winter Olympics downhill final.The 41-year-old skiing legend, who remains unable to stand, is scheduled for at least two additional procedures after her crash on February 8 in Cortina d'Ampezzo.This injury follows her 2024 comeback from retirement and knee replacement surgery as she attempted to secure another Olympic gold medal for Team USA.
