Anderson Cooper is departing "60 Minutes" after nearly twenty years as a correspondent to focus on his work at CNN and his family.The journalist will finish the current season through May 2026 following a final interview with filmmaker Ken Burns.His decision comes as Bari Weiss leads CBS News through internal tensions regarding reports on Donald Trump and immigration.Anderson Cooper previously signed a long-term agreement with CNN after Tony Dokoupil was named "CBS Evening News" anchor.
