Nvidia Challenges Rivals With Vera Rubin AI Supercomputer

Jensen Huang unveiled the Vera Rubin AI platform as Nvidia moves to secure its 80 percent market share against rising competition from Google and Amazon.The new architecture consists of six chips designed for data centers and is reportedly five times more efficient than previous models launched in late 2024.Scheduled for release in late 2026, the technology targets rival chipmakers such as Lisa Su and AMD while countering efforts from China to build domestic alternatives.
