Katherine Hartley Short, the daughter of actor Martin Short, died by suicide at her home in the Hollywood Hills.The 42-year-old was a licensed clinical social worker who dedicated her career to mental health advocacy and veteran support.She was the eldest of three children adopted by Martin Short and his late wife, Nancy Dolman, who passed away in 2010.The family requested privacy while mourning the loss of the professional who worked at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
