Peter Greene, the New Jersey–born character actor best known for villain turns in "The Mask" and "Pulp Fiction", has died at 60 after being found in his New York City apartment, his longtime manager Gregg Edwards said.A tall, distinctive performer with nearly 100 film and TV credits, Greene won Best Actor at Taormina for "Clean, Shaven", appeared opposite Jim Carrey in "The Mask" and had recent credits on Apple TV+ and in the John Wick universe's "The Continental"; Edwards said Greene was co-narrating the documentary "From the American People: The Withdrawal of USAID" with Jason Alexander and Kathleen Turner and was slated to work with Mickey Rourke.Police said no foul play is suspected and the cause of death was not disclosed; Greene is survived by his son Ryder, a brother and a sister, and Edwards said Greene had battled addiction but had been sober for several years.
