Masked Gunmen Assassinate Saif al-Islam Gaddafi in Zintan

Masked gunmen assassinated Saif al-Islam Gaddafi at his residence in Zintan following a period of intense political instability in Libya.The 53-year-old son of former leader Muammar Gaddafi had been living in the town since his release from captivity in 2017.His death was confirmed by lawyer Khaled al-Zaidi and political advisor Abdullah Othman Abdurrahim as investigations into the 444 Brigade and other armed factions continue.
