Gwyneth Paltrow revealed on Amy Poehler’s podcast that burnout from an intense early career and backlash from her divorce led to a decade-long acting hiatus.The actor explained that starring in 15 films within five years caused her to quit acting after winning an Oscar for “Shakespeare in Love”.Paltrow also disclosed that she lost a specific movie role following the negative press surrounding her 2014 separation from Chris Martin.
