Breezy Johnson Wins Gold Following Lindsey Vonn's Bad Crash

Breezy Johnson secured the first gold medal for USA at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics by winning the women's downhill event in Italy.The competition was suspended for 20 minutes after 41-year-old Lindsey Vonn suffered a severe crash and was evacuated by helicopter with knee and head injuries.Emma Aicher of Germany claimed the silver medal while Sofia Goggia took bronze once the race resumed at the Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre.
