Severe winter weather is crippling transportation networks across Europe after temperatures plummeted to record lows and caused a nine-car pile-up on the German A9 motorway.Two people were injured in the icy collision while Switzerland recorded minus 28 degrees Celsius and Sweden faced extreme lows reaching minus 40 degrees.SMHI warned of further snowfall in Sweden as travel disruptions reached the Netherlands and France amid regional layoffs involving Martin Bostrom.
