Gaon Choi of South Korea won the gold medal in the women's snowboard halfpipe at the 2026 Winter Olympics after recovering from a frightening headfirst crash during her opening run.Chloe Kim of the USA secured the silver medal with a score of 88.00 following a final run fall that ended her bid for a third consecutive Olympic title while competing with a torn shoulder labrum.Mitsuki Ono from Japan earned the bronze medal as spectators including Snoop Dogg, Shaun White, and Myles Garrett watched the competition at the Livigno Snow Park in Italy.
