Jorge Rodríguez Delays Elections as Amnesty Session Postponed

Jorge Rodríguez announced that Venezuela will not hold elections until national stabilization is achieved following the removal of Nicolás Maduro by the USA.The declaration coincided with the National Assembly postponing a session intended to approve an amnesty law proposed by interim leader Delcy Rodríguez to release political prisoners.Since the release process began in January, the non-governmental organization Foro Penal reported that 426 detainees have been freed as the country prepares for a Youth Day march.
