Intel Accelerates Chip Production Following Core Ultra Series 3 Launch

Intel is accelerating its 18A manufacturing schedule following the debut of its Core Ultra Series 3 mobile processors at CES 2026.CEO Lip-Bu Tan indicated that the US-made chips, formerly known as Panther Lake, put the firm on par with TSMC after a plan initiated by Pat Gelsinger.These processors will power new Dell XPS models and Samsung devices this year, while MSI prepares its Nvidia-based hardware for an April release.
