Bose Open-Sources SoundTouch API Following Extended Support Deadline

Bose has begun distributing API documentation to independent developers after extending the end-of-life date for its SoundTouch speaker line to May 2026.The transition to an open-source model follows customer feedback and aims to prevent the premium hardware from becoming obsolete when cloud services cease.Users will retain core functionality through Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect despite the discontinuation of official cloud-based support for the devices.
