Richard Leon Blocks Pete Hegseth's Bid to Punish Mark Kelly

USA District Judge Richard Leon issued a preliminary injunction blocking Pete Hegseth from demoting Mark Kelly or reducing his military pension following a video urging troops to refuse illegal orders.The ruling comes two days after a federal grand jury refused a DOJ request from Attorney General Pam Bondi and USA Attorney Jeanine Pirro to indict Mark Kelly and five other Democratic lawmakers for seditious conspiracy.While Donald Trump described the video as seditious behavior punishable by death, Richard Leon ruled that the Pentagon had trampled on the First Amendment rights of military retirees.
