LG will allow users to delete a Microsoft Copilot shortcut after several owners, including Engadget staff, discovered the icon had appeared on some newer LG smart TVs and initially seemed impossible to remove.LG spokesperson Chris De Maria said the Copilot entry is a browser shortcut that opens Microsoft’s web app rather than a built-in app and that microphone features require explicit user consent, but the company gave no firm timetable for removal.
