Twenty-One Die as High-Speed Trains Collide Near Córdoba Spain
Twenty-one people died and 100 others were injured after two high-speed trains collided near Córdoba in southern Spain on Sunday evening.The accident occurred when an Iryo train derailed and obstructed the track of an oncoming Renfe train, marking the deadliest rail disaster in the country since 2013.Investigations are currently focusing on a possible track switch malfunction as rail traffic between Madrid and Andalusia remains suspended.
