Prada Group completed its largest acquisition by purchasing Versace for approximately €1.25 billion ($1.375 billion) in cash, bringing the fashion house back under Italian ownership after Capri Holdings sold it at a loss.Dario Vitale will leave Versace less than nine months after becoming chief creative officer, and Lorenzo Bertelli has become executive chairman.Prada plans to spend €60 million in 2025 to integrate Versace into its supply chain and says no further major acquisitions are planned.
