Giorgia Meloni has partially corrected her stance on the intervention in Venezuela as Italy prepares to sign the Mercosur trade pact.The shift follows Ursula von der Leyen accepting Italian conditions for the deal, which von der Leyen will finalize in Paraguay on January 12.Critics had previously accused Meloni of subservience to Donald Trump after she labeled the defensive strikes in Venezuela as legitimate.
