Sixteen European teams will compete in playoffs starting March 26, 2026, including matches like Italy vs. Northern Ireland and Wales vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina. The official FIFA World Cup draw is scheduled for December 5, 2025, at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
