Instagram is launching a U.S.-only app for Amazon Fire TV to bring Reels to the living room, following a Verge report by Jay Peters that Meta was testing an Instagram TV app.The pilot supports most Fire TV Stick devices, Fire TV Series 2 and Omni TVs, lets households link up to five accounts, features a homescreen of personalized horizontal rows and Channels for topic browsing, and Aidan Marcuss welcomed the test while Instagram spokesperson Christine Pai said the company will evaluate results before deciding whether to expand.
