BMW Recalls 330,000 Cars Globally Over Dashboard Wiring Fire Risk

BMW is recalling over 330,000 vehicles worldwide after the German transport regulator identified a fire risk linked to dashboard wiring issues.The safety measure affects five models manufactured between June 2022 and December 2025, specifically the i5, 5 Series, M5, i7, and 7 Series.This marks the second major recall in a month following a separate fire risk involving starter motors and comes after a 1.5 million vehicle brake recall in late 2024.
