Croatia is acquiring 18 French Caesar self-propelled howitzers for 320 million euros, a deal confirmed by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic during a visit to Paris earlier this year.The howitzer purchase, financed through the European instrument Safe, aims to bolster Croatia's artillery capabilities.In addition to the howitzers, Croatia also signed a letter of intent to modernize its twelve Rafale fighter jets with French assistance, bringing them to a technological standard equivalent to the French Air Force's.
