Electricity prices in Sweden reached a two-year high of over 2 kronor per kilowatt-hour on Tuesday as cold weather and low wind production increased demand.The Energy Markets Inspectorate is preparing to mandate new effect fees for all electricity grid companies by 2027 to help balance national power loads.Energy economist Joakim Ottander advised households and electric vehicle owners to spread out usage to avoid high costs from these upcoming peak charges.
