Hannah Dugan was found guilty of a felony obstruction charge this week after her April maneuver that federal agents say allowed Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, a wanted immigrant, to evade an arrest at the Milwaukee Courthouse.A jury of seven men and five women returned the split verdict after more than six hours of deliberation, acquitting Dugan of a misdemeanor concealing charge; no sentencing date has been set and lead lawyer Steve Biskupic said he will ask U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman to set aside the conviction.Prosecutors presented video, courtroom audio and 19 witnesses including federal agents and Judge Kristela Cervera, who testified judges should not help defendants evade arrest, while the defense said Dugan followed courthouse guidance and called witnesses including former Mayor Tom Barrett.
