Trump Orders IndyCar Race in Washington to Mark USA 250th Anniversary

Donald Trump signed an executive order to bring the "Freedom 250 Grand Prix" IndyCar race to the streets of Washington in August 2026.The event celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and will feature a course near the National Mall and national monuments.Sean Duffy and Doug Burgum will coordinate with city officials to finalize the route within two weeks for the free public event.
