Jair Bolsonaro returned to prison on Thursday after the Supreme Court of Brazil rejected a request to serve his 27-year sentence under house arrest for health reasons.Judge Alexandre de Moraes ruled that the condition of the former leader had not worsened following surgery for a hernia and treatment for acute hiccups at a private clinic.The politician, who remains incarcerated for a 2022 coup attempt, continues to deny all charges while endorsing his son Flavio Bolsonaro for the 2026 presidential election.
