Leo XIV to Visit Assisi Following Rare Francis of Assisi Exhibit

Nearly 400,000 worshippers have registered to view the 800-year-old remains of Francis of Assisi during a rare public exhibition in Italy.The bone fragments are housed in a nitrogen-filled bulletproof case at the Basilica of Saint Francis to mark the 800th anniversary of his death.Following the display's conclusion in March, Leo XIV is scheduled to visit the site in August for the international "GO! Franciscan Youth meeting".
