Donald Trump signed a proclamation for a new 10% import tariff starting February 24 after the Supreme Court invalidated his previous trade penalties as an unconstitutional use of emergency powers.Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Nevada Treasurer Zach Conine are currently leading a national effort to recover approximately $133B in voided taxes.Major corporations including Costco and Revlon have already filed lawsuits to reclaim funds through the Court of International Trade and the customs agency.The administration is now utilizing Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 to bypass the ruling, though this new measure is limited to 150 days.
