Laura Burdese will become Bulgari’s chief executive officer on July 1 next year, succeeding Jean-Christophe Babin after she was named deputy CEO last year.She will report to Stéphane Bianchi, and Babin will remain chairman of the Bulgari board while keeping roles as CEO of the Bulgari Hotel business, president of the Bulgari Foundation and, since March, CEO of LVMH Watches overseeing Hublot, Zenith and TAG Heuer; Burdese’s rise follows her work on the Valenza production site and the Scuola Bulgari as the company expands high jewelry, watchmaking and hotels.
