Bill White Summoned After Accusing Belgium of Antisemitism

US Ambassador Bill White was summoned by the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs after he accused the government of antisemitism regarding a probe into ritual circumcisions.Theodora Gentzis met with Bill White in Brussels to address his criticism of the investigation into three mohels in Antwerp who allegedly performed procedures without medical certification.While Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar supported the concerns, Bill White later clarified that he does not view Belgium as antisemitic despite a rise in reported incidents.
