A CNEL report revealed that 630,000 young people aged 18 to 34 left the country between 2011 and 2024, with 78,000 departing in 2024 and Renato Brunetta presenting the findings.The study, titled "The Attractiveness of Italy for Young People from Developed Countries," highlighted an estimated economic loss of about €159 billion from emigration, with only 55,000 foreign youths arriving from developed nations.Alessandro Rosina emphasized the urgent need for strategies to retain and attract young talent, as the young population has declined from around 15 million in the mid-1990s to slightly over 10 million now.
