Repairs to the power grid in southeastern Berlin following an arson attack on September 9 are expected to last until early 2026.The attack, attributed to left-wing extremists, resulted in the longest power outage in post-war Berlin, affecting around 50,000 customers of Stromnetz GmbH.Despite implementing additional security measures, Stromnetz acknowledged a residual risk for future attacks on critical infrastructure.
