Paris organizers confirmed that cattle competitions will be canceled for the 2026 Salon de l'Agriculture as farmers from the Vendée region begin protests over agricultural conditions.The prestigious ten-day event at Porte de Versailles will feature only symbolic cattle displays following widespread outbreaks of contagious bovine dermatosis across France.While other livestock like sheep and pigs remain on the schedule, poultry classes have also been scrapped due to concerns regarding bird flu.
