Ice Storm Triggers 21-Vehicle Pileup and 19 Injuries on A10

Nineteen people were injured after a sudden ice storm caused a massive pileup involving twenty-one vehicles on the A10 highway near Potsdam.Emergency services closed both lanes of the highway for several hours as rescue crews treated victims and cleared wreckage between the Nuthetal and Potsdam junctions.The freezing rain also forced numerous flight cancellations at Berlin Brandenburg Airport while the German Weather Service warned of continued hazardous conditions.
