Trial Opens for Former Uvalde Officer Adrian Gonzales

Families of victims sobbed in court as the trial of former school officer Adrian Gonzales began over his response to the Uvalde elementary school massacre.Special prosecutor Bill Turner told jurors that Gonzales arrived at the scene before the gunman entered the building but failed to intervene.The proceedings in Corpus Christi included emotional testimony and recordings of 911 calls made during the 2022 shooting at Robb Elementary.
